			A life is comprised of three essential parts: the mind, the body, and the spirit. For the layman, it is impossible to separate the three, but for the [[Shaman]], they are entirely separate entities. A tree, for example, might have little mind, but a massive spiritual Will to grow to the heavens. A raven, on the other hand, might have a complex body, geared for flight, and a sharp problem-solving mind, but little thought for the afterlife.

			[[Shaman]]s who study in the [[Circle of Life]] focus their study on the body. Their first Powers will involve extra-natural growth in plants and animals. They will better understand fertility in plants, animals, and other living things. As their Powers grow, they will work with what Mind and Spirit the living matter possesses to enhance their bodies.

			In later and even more powerful incarnations of themselves, they will be able to create life from whole cloth. Fortunately for the gods, their god-like power is limited to slimes, molds, and other "thinking" jellies. These blank slate creatures can be imbued with various powers and abilities, and enough of a mind to perform a [[Shaman]]'s bidding.

			[[Circle of Life]] teachers are almost always found as part of settlements. There is massive pressure on most settlements to acquire food for their citizens. For every bucket of grain that a farmer produces as food, at least two are lost to seed, taxes, and pests. [[Hel]]p from a [[Shaman]] to increase their yields, drive away vermin, or protect them from the elements can mean life or death for some settlements.

			When students arrive, they are immediately put to work assisting these farmers as they train their new Power. Off-season, they will work in a greenhouse, underground, or some other agricultural research environment. The key factor is the work, as the work combined with the imparted knowledge brings forth the new Power.
