The [[Grendel]] are often characterised as a savage strain. Experts agree that this supposition is based on their arguably brutish appearance. An average [[Grendel]] stands taller and more muscular than all but the largest of humans. The bone structure of the [[Grendel]] face tends to make them appear to be agitated, at least to [[Human]]s.
