Psychics use Prescience to navigate and alter the timeline. Mastery allows consciousness to exist in past and future. Taught in 4D space, these Magisters are usually found in national capitals.

To a member of the Temporal Collegiate, the future is as tangible as a non-Psychic's memory. What onlookers dismiss as "luck", stepping aside just before an arrow flies or predicting a sudden landslide, is actually the result of innate Prescience. Once trained, these Psychics become some of the most influential figures in Otan, capable of shifting the tides of war across multiple fronts by manipulating the flow of events.

At the zenith of their power, Temporal Psychics immerse their consciousness in the timeline, existing in past and future moments simultaneously. They often cite the mantra, "I have a universe within me." Notably, when a Prescient alters the timeline, those around them remain unaware of the change; however, when two Prescients clash, the resulting temporal turbulence often leads to heavy bystander casualties.

Teaching Methods

Instruction in the Temporal Collegiate requires the Master to pull the student’s awareness into 4-dimensional space. To an outsider, this looks like normal physical space, yet the student’s mind becomes untraceable to other Psychics as it shifts through time. For those with high Intelligence or strong innate Prescience, the instructor can dispense with metaphors, as the student perceives the temporal mechanics directly.

Compensation is standard. Gifts, fees, and pledges of loyalty are expected. These contracts are absolute; an instructor always knows exactly when a student’s future involves a betrayal of that oath.
