The Kinetic Collegiate is the school of physical manifestation through mental focus. While the masters of this collegiate despise the cliché "mind over matter," the phrase holds a kernel of truth: their power is the direct intersection of Will and Power. Many students are born with a latent "spark," having moved or bent small objects since childhood without realizing their gift was unique.
Beyond simple telekinesis, advanced practitioners learn to manipulate the world with the precision of a surgeon and the strength of a Brute. They can move massive objects, create kinetic barriers, or even vibrate molecules to induce extreme cooling, heating, or spontaneous combustion.
Teaching Methods
Instruction takes place in traditional classrooms, often filled with a mix of age groups due to the early onset of these abilities. Students pay an admission fee to hear instructors describe the "Internal Topography" of the mind. The teaching language is highly specialized, focusing on specific sensations within the cerebral lobes that non-Psychics cannot perceive.
Interestingly, the Sophists have collaborated with the Collegiate to notate these feelings into "Instructional Sheets." Because of this rigorous documentation, a student can potentially learn a new Power simply by reading these papers and mimicking the described mental states, making this one of the most accessible psychic disciplines.
